For Susan Justice Pompeo, being a woman of faith has meant living a life that flourishes in every sphere of leadership.
Susan’s roots run deep in the culture and character of her home state of Kansas. She has served as a leader in the non-profit sector mobilizing alumni relations for her alma mater. She has been an innovator in the banking world and an entrepreneur establishing her own business. Her resume of volunteer leadership reflects her commitment to use her influence for the good of others and the world. With her husband Michael as CIA Director and Secretary of State, she has been an advocate for those who serve in the branches of government he led.
The two of them taught 5th grade Sunday school in their home church for several years. Susan is also a mom with a recently wed grown son. The Pompeos now live in Virginia with their two golden retrievers.
