Steve Connor LHD is President/CEO of Sports Outreach International, a nonprofit ministry (which pioneers sports ministry organizations around the world). Connor has played, coached, and been a chaplain at every level. Connor (ordained) has maintained an adjunct church pastoral/preaching relationship University of Oxford, England; Comrie, Scotland; Bloomington, IN; and Rockaway Beach, MO. Steve is a frequent speaker and has addressed various audiences, from Nascar’s Joe Gibbs Racing to Members of the Royal family in the United Kingdom.
He has a sports background, is an NAIA Two-time All-American, and has a ‘short and un-illustrious’ career with the Historic Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams. He has published ten books and has been the Facilitator for the Sports Movement – ISC (International Sports Coalition, North America).
Steve and Michelle have been married for thirty-seven years. They have three children and five grandchildren. He was honored with his Doctorate from Azusa Pacific University.
Steve has traveled to over 100 countries and is currently back from Pakistan, Haiti and Ukraine. Connor has ridden a motorcycle on every continent (except Antarctica). He loves playing jazz on his 100-year-old upright bass and lacks only talent to be an accomplished musician.
